For more than 30 years, Luis Palau has had a passion to reach Scotland with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Through more than 5 campaigns, proclaiming the Gospel in more than 12 cities and villages, he has seen tremendous results. Hundreds of thousands have heard the Good News in person and tens of thousands have made public commitments to Jesus Christ. But the work in Scotland is not done. Two years ago, at the Keswick Convention, two ministers came to Luis separately, and asked him to consider coming to the Highlands to conduct an evangelistic campaign. Today more than seventy congregations and ministries have committed to participating in this historic outreach. Lord James MacKay of Clashfern serves as chairman and a number of Christian businessmen are helping to organize and raise the necessary funds. In early June, Luis and a team of evangelists will visit some of the towns and villages scattered across the Highlands for one day evangelistic meetings. In an effort to reach young people with the message of Christ’s love, these meetings will include sports demonstrations by Christian skate boarders, BMX bicycle stunt riders, musical groups, and a message of hope in Christ. On 19-20 June, the entire community will be invited to Bught Park to hear the life changing message of salvation. It is our prayer that you will come and bring all your friends.
