‘Rhythms of Heaven’ Drum Workshops Sat 13th March 10am-4pm £22 (concessions available)
A workshop exploring the relationship of rhythm, music and dance. We will explore a variety of percussion rhythms, and look at how they interact with a worship band or creative movement team. Consideration will be give how at different time, in the Holy Spirit, each may give a lead, and others respond accordingly, as we seek to be sensitive to the ‘rhythms of heaven’.
Martin Neil is a world-class drummer, who plays regularly with Kevin Prosch, Ruth Fazal and other innovative worship leaders. His interest in world music gives him a breadth of understanding of rhythms and musical expression. His church links take him from the Northumbria Community, to Bethel, California and to the Pacific islands.
