POURED OUT  is a unique event hosted jointly by Tearfund, Pray for Scotland and Stirling Baptist Church to be inspired and equipped to pray for our nation and the nations of the earth. We will combine our desire for God to bring transformation in Scotland with prayers for the needs of the poor and broken around the world.

The event will consist of engaging teaching, dynamic worship, but mainly times of individual and corporate prayer.  There will be a prayer room run by 24-7 Prayer in operation throughout the event and personal prayer appointments will be available.

Speakers and prayer leaders include Tommy MacNeilAlasdair Black, Tearfund Scotland Director Lynne Paterson and Jean Black from Pray for Scotland.  Worship will be led by Allan McKinlay and the Stirling Baptist worship team.

The theme of the event is Poured Out – as we pour out our worship and prayer to God, he will pour out his spirit in response.

Registration and coffee from 9am – 10am both days

Sessions from 10am – 4.30pm both days

Friday evening from 7pm – 9pm

Overview

Friday morning – Pouring out our devotion.

“Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair.” John 12:3

Looking at the life of Mary of Bethany, Lynne Paterson will be calling us to a life of holy passion, doing the ‘one thing’ Jesus said was necessary – sitting at his feet and hearing his word.

Friday afternoon – Pouring out our intercession

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Phil 4:6

The Pray for Scotland team will lead an equipping session on various types of intercession, followed by a time of corporate prayer for local and global issues, putting these methods into practice.

Friday evening – Prayer and worship evening

Alasdair Black and Lynne Paterson will host an evening of prayer for local and global issues with worship led by Allan McKinlay.

Saturday morning – Lord, pour out your Spirit!

“And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31

Tommy and Donna MacNeil inspire, challenge and then lead us in praying for revival in Scotland and around the earth

Saturday afternoon (1) – Being poured out in action

“For I am already being poured out as a drink offering…” 2 Tim 4:6

God uses us as the answers to our prayers. Tearfund’s Tara Devlin will be leading an interactive session looking at rhythms of righteous behavior and being the answer to our prayers.

Saturday afternoon (2) – Closing Celebration

Alasdair Black brings the event to a conclusion with worship, prayer and exhortation.
