This is a reminder of our Spring Praise Night on Sunday 16 May 8.30pm at Findlay Memorial Church in Glasgow. The exile band will lead the worship, with numbers by Steph McLeod and Rebecca Hardie as well. Admission is free (there’ll be an offering to help with costs), and more information including maps is available online at http://www.originscotland.org
in addition, we’d like to announce our support for Heart for Haiti, an evening of worship and a chance to raise funds for an exciting hospital rebuilding project in Haiti.
It’s promising to be a fantastic evening with worship led by Graham Kendrick, Stuart Townend, Brenton Brown, Cathy Burton and a great band. Andy Hawthorne is hosting the evening and the director of Compassion in Haiti, Guillbaud Saint-Cyr will be bringing an update of the current situation in the country. The event is taking place on Friday 11th June, the night before the one day Christian music festival FRENZY and will be held in the same venue (the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh). All of the worship leaders and band members have waived their fee for the event, the Royal Highland Centre have kindly donated the venue, and the FRENZY production team have donated the use of the PA, lights and video for the evening to ensure as much as possible is raised for the rebuilding of the Wesleyan Hospital in Haiti. Tickets are only £5 (£1 for under 16’s) and can be bought online. The event starts at 7:30pm (doors open at 6pm) and will be finished by 10pm. For more information, please see http://www.heartforhaiti.co.uk/ appreciate your prayers for all these efforts. In Him, Colin Peckham (Ministry Leader)
